Picture by Christian Cooksey. The sun rises over Whitelee windfarm, which is situated to the south of Glasgow on Eaglesham Moor. The windfarm is the largest on shore windfarm in the UK. It has 215 turbines, producing 539 megawatts of electricity, which can power almost 300,000 homes.
