The centenary commemoration service for the HMY Iolaire at Holm on the Isle of Lewis attended by HRH The Prince Charles, Lord of the Isles and the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon. The Iolaire sank close to Stornoway harbour in the early hours on New Years Day 1919 when transporting back sailors after the First World War. 205 men died.
A flotilla including the CalMac ferry MV Loch Seaforth out by the Beasts of Holm during the service.
