Glasgow taxi driver Dougie McPherson celebrates after the National Lottery named taxi drivers as the luckiest profession for lottery winners. More than 1,500 major prizes (£50,000 and above) have been won by drivers, creating 193 millionaires and paying out over £750m to the profession since The National Lottery began. Drivers, including cabbies, bus and lorry drivers, are second only to builders when it comes to making millionaires.
Dougie is pictured outside the SSE Hydro Arena with passenger Laura Phillips aged 22 from Glasgow who is hoping to get some good luck off Dougie.
