TV presenter and former Miss Scotland Nicola Wood and her husband Garreth Wood, owner of Signature Pub chain and trustee of the Wood Foundation are pictured with Dr Sam Ibhanesebhor, head of neonatal medicine at Wishaw General Hospital (right) after the couple donated Hero equipment to the Neo Natal Unit at Wishaw Hospital.
The equipment is used to detect infections in premature babies and is the first of its kind in Scotland. They are making the donation following the loss of their triplet daughters in 2013, who were born at 24 weeks.
